Wapi is designed to help people make plans, save places and stay connected with friends and groups. This page is a pre-launch draft of the privacy policy and is not yet the final production policy.

Information Wapi may use

Depending on the features you choose to use, Wapi may process account information such as your name, display name, email address and mobile number; profile information and photos; plans, RSVPs, comments, lists and other content you create; approximate or precise location when you choose location-based features; contact information when you choose contact-sync features; and technical information needed to operate and secure the service.

How information is used

Information is used to provide Wapi’s features, connect you with people and groups you choose, show relevant plans and places, deliver account and service notifications, prevent abuse, respond to reports, maintain security and improve the service.

Your choices

You can control optional permissions such as location, contacts and notifications through your device settings. Wapi also provides controls for blocking and reporting. You can request account deletion from within the app or contact support if you cannot access your account.

Sharing and service providers

Wapi may use service providers to operate infrastructure, authentication, databases, email, notifications, maps and related app functionality. Wapi does not sell personal information. The final policy will identify material production service providers and describe their role more precisely.
